Shipping fees for your order will automatically be calculated and displayed at checkout before you place an order.
If you are ordering from inside the EU, the cost of goods will be displayed including your local country VAT rate.
We use geolocation data to determine your location and display cost including VAT. If your browser prevents such geolocation, the applicable VAT rate will be added to your order total at checkout.
For orders from outside the EU, your order may be subject to import taxes, duties, or VAT, which will be applied to your order when it reaches the destination country. Any and all fees that may be imposed are the responsibility of the customer. Metal Department Ltd. is not responsible for such charges.
All orders are generally processed and shipped by tracked mail within 1-3 business days. Orders are not processed on weekends or holidays.
Order processing times may be delayed by a few days during holidays, launches, limited-edition releases, or other times when we are experiencing a high volume of orders.
Our warehouse is closed for a brief vacation from July 19 – July 22. Shipping will resume on July 23rd.
We will notify you when your order has shipped or if we foresee any issues with fulfilling your order.
Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking:
After you have placed an order you will receive an order confirmation email. At this stage, please allow time for the order processing.
You will then receive a separate shipment confirmation email notification once your order has shipped (normally within 1-3 business days). The shipping confirmation email will contain your order tracking number.
All orders will ship from Malta (EU), and will typically be delivered within this time-frame:
EU/Europe: 4-7 business days
Canada/US: 10-18 business days
Asia: 10-21 business days
Australia: 10-21 business days
Delayed or lost orders:
A parcel is not considered ‘officially delayed’ until it has been in the postal system for a period of 30 business days for international orders, at which time we can investigate the matter further. We cannot take responsibility for delays caused by the couriers. Although orders normally take much less time than that, we are unable to refund or dispatch a replacement until this period of time has elapsed.
If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, you must pay the additional cost to re-deliver your order to a corrected address. We are not responsible for the loss of your order if the address provided at checkout is incomplete or incorrect.
