The metallic might of Sweden’s SABATON is of course nothing unknown to visitors of Metal Department. They are in fact one of our most cherished acts, as should be evident from the official SABATON online game that we released a couple of years ago now.
What may be new to you is the fact that the band is also one of the hardest working bands in the world of heavy metal, almost constantly on tour somewhere in the world (and hopefully somewhere near you, too).

Oh, and when will there be a new SABATON album you ask?
Well, they boys released a new single ‘Defence Of Moscow’ in May of 2021, but still haven’t given us an official date for the new album. Keep watching this space!
